The average maximum number of guests accepted in a Sri Lankan villa for a wedding is usually 50 to 80 guests, but some villas can cater up to 100 to 120 guests maximum.

In addition to this, Villa owners will request an event fee, security deposit and a minimum number of nights, which varies from 3 to 4 nights. This is essential, in order to let the guests familiarise with the Villa and allow the management to be prepared for the event. This luxury 9 bedroom Villa is ideal for large events, as it is the only Villa in our collection that can cater up to 150 guests. The Villa management has their own wedding planning service and they can either offer bespoke services or choose from wedding packages. The advantage of renting this villa is its size. The Villa can accommodate 18 guests in 9 bedrooms and have 150 guests for an event.

Minimum nights: in order to confirm a function, the Villa requires guests to book the whole villa for 4 nights (two days prior to the wedding, the day of the wedding and the day after the wedding). The set-up for the function will happen during the 3 days leading up to the function: this is why the Villa only allows guests to check-in on the third day (the day of the function) at 1.00 pm. However, if you are in need of a venue that allows larger weddings but still in the privacy of a Villa, villa 7 is the best option.
