All 5 ensuite bedrooms are on the first floor and accessed from a ‘square-shaped’ covered balcony that on one side has the bedrooms and on the other has an open sky view providing light and air. The Private villa offers guests the luxury of a tranquil barefoot beachside holiday, surrounded by a superb collection of colonial antiques from the old world of the East Indies which stretched from Ceylon through today’s Indonesia, together with colorful abstract modern art. This Spacious Holiday rental in Ahangama is also great for weddings and celebrations, with excellent Villa Management by staff and a private chef.

THE BEDROOMS
The Luxury Beach villa in Ahangama offers five peaceful air-conditioned guest suites, with comfortable antique four poster beds, classical furnishings, calming tropical scents and elegant modern bathrooms.
The five bedrooms – all with ceiling fans, air conditioning and four-poster beds draped in soft mosquito netting – are on the first floor. To the front are the two master suites, both of which are expansive and luxuriously fitted with king-size beds, writing desks, dining tables, safes and plenty of wardrobe space. Each master bathroom is equipped with powerful rain shower, free-standing tub and twin washbasins as well as twin French windows opening onto a wide front balcony that magnificently overlooks the sea.
The other three bedrooms (one king and two twins) also offer ensuite bathrooms with powerful showers. The king-bedded room and one of the twins open onto the rear balcony with views over the garden and driveway below. Both have walk-in cupboard storage, a small table and chairs and are a little more spacious than the side twin room, which is better suited to children.

THE FOOD
Guests can discuss their menu preferences directly with the chef and pay for the ingredients (Groceries at cost) and transport for shopping. Read more about the Villa meals policy in Sri Lanka. The Villa comes with an exceptional chef who is capable of western and local dishes. Children’s menus can be discussed, as well as special requests and dietary requirements.
Specialties include barbecued fresh lobster from the adjacent bay or a spicy local Rice and Curry or Indonesian satay from the Villa’s special traditional cinnamon wood-fired kitchen. You can talk to the chef about the day’s fresh seafood catch, directly from the nearby waters. For short stays, fixed price set meals are offered for breakfast lunch, and dinner, as required, while longer-staying guests are charged for food and drink items at cost plus 10% service.
Dine in the Villa’s elegant, formal dining room or al fresco on the verandas overlooking the sea or try our traditional curry hut.

Security deposit: Upon arrival at the villa you may be required to pay a security deposit. The security deposit, if applicable, will be returned to you prior to departure or as agreed less any extra charges or costs for accidental damage to the property.
Check-in/out
- Usual Check-in after 2.00 pm and Check out – Before 11.00 am
- Late check-outs up to 6.00 pm may incur a half-day charge, after 6.00 pm a full day may be charged.
- Every effort will be made to accommodate other check-in/out times but this will depend on availability.

“Pictures don’t do justice for this Grand Villa in Sri Lanka! The Villa sits slightly elevated with more than 180 degrees stunning Indian ocean view, and an almost private beach, which is not golden but whitish! Great spot for snorkeling and we jumped into a tuk tuk when ever we wanted to go surfing. The huge specious living areas are highlight of the villa as is the Huge swimming pool. The friendly-family run staff who keep the villa thoroughly tidy and up to date, the home cooked Sri Lanka rice and curry and local breakfast, and attentive service team are additional bonuses for this luxury villa holiday in Sri Lanka. “My wife and I stayed at the beach Villa for 5 nights from 26 March 2019. We stayed with another 3 couples. The Villa was outstanding in every respect. The furnishings and artwork are high quality and set the place apart. The rooms are very spacious. The two main bedrooms upstairs are huge. The staff were attentive and helpful. They prepared beautiful meals the whole time and kept the whole place very clean. The pool is simply stunning. We had two functions which were catered in the garden and the place worked perfectly. A lunch for 24 was held on the main verandah which was outstanding. This place will really shine if you are with your own group of 4 or 5 couples. But really, any time you spend at this place will bring a wide smile. It’s just brilliant.”
