On the ground floor, there are four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with attached bathrooms. Additionally, there is one bedroom with an attached bathroom and a bunk bed, ideal for families. Each room is furnished with a four-poster bed draped with mosquito netting, providing a cozy retreat. Amenities include a ceiling fan, wardrobe, and a safe deposit box. Four bathrooms on the ground floor feature rainfall showers, hot/cold water, towels, hairdryers, and toiletries.

If you’re planning your next surfing holiday in Sri Lanka, whether you’re a beginner or a pro, the nearby Ahangama and Kabalana Beaches offer five fabulous surf spots. Kabalana Beach break is suitable for all levels, making it particularly ideal for beginners and first-time surfers. One of these spots is Kabalana – The Rock Surf Point.
The Rock, another notable surf point, offers a reliable reef break with steady waves and some excellent A-frame formations, possibly among the best in Sri Lanka! Ideal for intermediates and advanced surfers, especially the left-handed waves.
Sticks is another fantastic surf spot, featuring a reef break ideal for intermediate and experienced surfers. Beginners keen on surfing here are strongly advised to do so under the guidance of a surf instructor. Prepare for some speedy rides at this location.
For advanced surfers, the “Gas Station” surf point awaits. Beginners should always be accompanied by a surf instructor. Another spot frequented by surfers is known as “Insight,” offering comfortable long rides and mellow waves. Located close to the Insight Hotel, also referred to as “Marshmallow,” this spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers but not recommended for first-time surfers.
A haven for surfers seeking respite from the salty shores or an idyllic base for a family retreat, the villa is nestled in a charming neighbourhood adorned with excellent surf breaks, pristine beaches, and convenient shopping opportunities.

Buses are also accessible from the end of the road, within walking distance, offers connections north and south. Unawatuna Beach boasts a plethora of charming shops, restaurants, and bars, along with vibrant nightlife. Galle Fort, a mere 25-minute tuk-tuk ride away, is a fascinating heritage site. Stroll through its narrow streets, immersing yourself in the historic atmosphere, and marvel at the antique Dutch houses while catching a breathtaking sunset from The Ramparts.

“We loved our stay at the Surf Villa. The flat grass area at the front was great for the very young children in our large party and the pool stayed nice and cool. The staff were really attentive and lovely – particular mention to Sahan the chef, whose cooking was amazing, Anji, who was always so helpful and Anil. Sonali was very kind to allow us to use a larger villa on the beachfront when it was available and for our Christmas celebrations. The beach directly over the road from the villa is very beautiful and peaceful but quite rocky for swimming but there is the wonderful Kabalana beach 2 minutes Tuk Tuk away for surfing, body boarding and better swimming. The train to Galle is a 5 minute walk away. The area is very quiet but Ahangama is very close and has beach bars and restaurants. The road to cross to get to the beach is very busy but it is manageable and the villa team will help you to cross whenever they can.”
