THE BEDROOMS

With its five elegantly appointed bedrooms, lush courtyard gardens, and inviting swimming pool, this historic abode presents a sublime sanctuary in the heart of the city. Upon entering the villa, guests are enveloped in an ambiance of serene sophistication. The interiors are adorned with antique furnishings, traditional Dutch tiles, and a curated selection of Asian art pieces. Each of the five bedrooms is meticulously designed, featuring sumptuous king-size four-poster beds, en-suite bathrooms, and in-room safes.

Bedroom 1: Elegantly appointed, this spacious bedroom showcases a teak king four-poster bed adorned with antique furnishings. Offering sweeping vistas over the neighboring rooftops and the iconic 17th-century Dutch Reform Church, the room is adorned in tranquil shades of grey and white. A generously sized walk-in shower, separate w/c, and a spacious dressing room complete the luxurious ensemble.

Bedroom 2: Similar to Bedroom 1, this room features a king four-poster bed and shuttered doors that lead to a sprawling terrace, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. Offering magnificent views of the Dutch Reform Church gables and the red-tiled Fort rooftops, the room boasts lofty ceilings for a cool and serene ambiance. Interconnecting doors to Bedroom 4 offer flexibility for families traveling with young children.

Bedroom 4: Adorned in hues of beige and rusty red, this bedroom boasts twin four-poster beds that can convert to a king-size configuration. Villa Staff: The villa comes with a dedicated team of staff, including a chef, butler and housekeepers, who are on hand to cater to your every need.

• The villa’s skilled private chef/Cook will happily prepare a range of delicious meals from a suggested menu, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements (you pay only for ingredients & transport for shopping).
• Your rooms will be made up by the housekeeper/maid, who will also make sure your needs are attended to so that you can relax and enjoy the perfect getaway.

THE FOOD

Guests can discuss their menu preferences directly with the chef/cook and pay for the ingredients (Groceries at cost) and transport for shopping. Read more about the Villa meals policy in Sri Lanka. The Villa comes with a a house cook/chef who is capable of western and local dishes. Payment is on an ingredients-only basis +transport. Children’s menus can be discussed, as well as special requests and dietary requirements. 

Note: If you give the manager/Chef a float at the beginning of your stay, The Chef will shop and present receipts at check out with a balance or request a top-up during the stay if necessary.

The property also offers a selection of books and DVDs in the library, a spacious garden, and laundry facilities.

Security deposit: Upon arrival at the villa you may be required to pay a security deposit. The security deposit, if applicable, will be returned to you prior to departure or as agreed less any extra charges or costs for accidental damage to the property.

Check-in/out

• Usual Check-in after 2.30 pm and Check out – Before 10.30 am
• Late check-outs up to 6.00 pm may incur a half-day charge, after 6.00 pm a full day may be charged.
• Every effort will be made to accommodate other check-in/out times but this will depend on availability.
